First, the people: from the owner Vivek, to Isha (onsite employee and sound healing teacher), to ALL the professors (including Abhishek’s great teachings), everyone made my stay incredible. Thanks to everyone! 2. The sessions were also great: yoga, mantra chanting, sound healing, calm and dance meditations, everything contributed to such an intense and complete experience :) 3. And then the location itself: it couldn’t be better! 30/40 meters away from Ganga River, the this ashram is just so peaceful! Leila TajPeaceful ashram, you're surrounded by beautiful trees, near the Ganga, with a real connection to nature. The program is really complete and well balanced. The teachers are amazing and very knowledgeable. You get to practice Hatha and Ashtanga yoga, but also discover aspects that we don't always get to learn abroad, such as yoga philosophy, meditation and anatomy. It gives a much deeper understanding of yoga beyond the physical practice. The food is also really good, healthy and tasty, with some nice little drinks from time to time. Everyone is very kind and welcoming. Overall, a beautiful place to slow down, learn and reconnect with yourself.Posted on Google
Charlotte RaffaitinVery good experience in Tarang Ashram. We stayed in a nice comfortable room. The classes they offer are amazing thanks to the teachers. The host was very friendly and the staff was so helpful. The food is also delicious. You can access a little beach by the Ganga river. I would definitly recommand to stay for a retreat. Also a family of dogs lives there and they are very friendly and sweet. Also the wifi works well.Posted on Google

Rohit YadavI got the opportunity to complete my 100-hour Yoga Teacher Training in Rishikesh at Tarang Yoga Ashram and School, and it was a wonderful experience. The ashram’s location is truly special—surrounded by peaceful forest and natural beauty, with the sacred Ganga River and private riverside beach just a short walk away. Practising yoga in such a quiet environment helped me disconnect from everyday stress and focus completely on my physical, mental and spiritual growth. The classes were informative, well structured and suitable for both beginners and experienced practitioners. Our teachers guided us patiently through Hatha Yoga, Ashtanga Vinyasa, pranayama, meditation, mantra chanting, yoga philosophy, anatomy, alignment and teaching methodology. Their clear explanations and individual attention helped me improve my practice and develop greater confidence. Another highlight was the fresh vegetarian food. Every meal was healthy, nourishing, varied and delicious. The kitchen team prepared the food with great care, and it supported us perfectly throughout the intensive daily classes. The accommodation was comfortable, and the teachers and staff created a warm, welcoming atmosphere. I highly recommend Tarang Yoga Ashram to anyone searching for an authentic 100-hour yoga teacher training course in Rishikesh, a peaceful yoga school near the Ganga River, or one of the best places to study yoga teacher training in India.Posted on Google
